    Great advice as usual, Helga!

    I can think of one event in particular where I was really happy talking to a few people and finding out what they did with genuine interest and we were bombarded with someone who was ‘working the room’. I remember the little group more (and have stayed in touch)than the person who crashed in with loads of business info!

      Thanks for your comment Penny – yes it’s so obvious and uncomfortable when someone tries to ‘sell’ instead of forging genuine connections!
