Thomasina Carlyle

 

Thomasina has a background of 30 years’ experience in arts and event management in both creative and administrative roles including producing, and leading on marketing and promotions.

Over a period of 20 years as Co-Artistic Director of Trading Faces she developed the company from a partnership with a modest turnover to a well-established limited company with charitable status gaining regular Arts Council revenue funding and an excellent regional and national reputation for high quality educational arts work, with a number of strategic partners, turning over in excess of 100K a year.

Subsequently over five years as Administrative Producer at Pentabus Theatre Thomasina was responsible for generating marketing strategy, booking tours, building audiences and developing contacts. During this time she lead on creation of publicity and PR for events, print management, introducing new office systems and methods of marketing and establishing new income streams.

Thomasina runs her own business Carlyle Transformations offering marketing consultancy and strategic business support services.  She works with businesses, arts organisations, sole traders and individuals offering a range of marketing, and space transformational make overs in business and domestic settings. This work has recently involved her in projects as diverse as mentoring and supporting emerging artists in the West Midlands to promotional support for an agricultural firm.

As a member of the Creative Shift team her role ranges from creation of collateral, marketing routes and PR to event and speaking planning with a focus on ensuring that collateral matches brand values and quality of service.
